Greek Demeter

Guardian of the harvest

Goddess of the corn

Mother of Persephone

Goddess of fertility

Protector of matrimony

HAPPY DAYS

 

If when forced to make a detour

You are content to enjoy the scenery

Then congratulations are in order

You are without doubt truly happy

EPIPHANY IS DESCRIBED IN THE LEXICON

 Epiphany is described in the lexicon

Simply as a divine manifestation

But when she disrobed before me

It was a Magnificent Divest-ion 

THE WORLD HAS BECOME A BLEAKER PLACE

 

The world has become a bleaker place

And it will never be a safe world again

Death can be delivered unseen from above

I wish I could uninvent the Aeroplane

IF SCIENTIST’S WERE EVER TO ACHIEVE SUCCESS

 

If scientists were ever to achieve success

In a cross breeding in which they would exult,

Between a rabbit’s foot and some poison ivy

Then a rash of good luck would be the result

FOGHORN LEGHORN THE COCKEREL

 

Foghorn Leghorn the Cockerel

Is happy to be the farmyard hick

Not through a lack of ambition

But he’s never short of a hot chick

ALL THE RABBITS IN THE FIELD

 

All the Rabbits in the field

Backed away from Farmer Kline

This strange phenomenon

Is known as a receding hareline
