TRAFFIC COP – DON’T BE TOO CLEVER

Sometimes you can talk

Your way out of a ticket

A little bit of charm

Is probably the safest bet

Humour can work as well

Don’t say to the men in blue

“That's great the last cop

Only gave me a warning too”

One of the five rivers of hades

Plied his morbid trade

Are you wearing black nail varnish?

Well it’s just a bit of a macabre garnish

And its going to stand out is all I will say

She was silver haired

And her face was lined

But she was content

And felt blessed

To have grey hair,

And to have had

Such a happy life

That the laughter of her youth

Was etched into her face
