I like breakin’ and poppin’
And dancing to Hip hop
At Sixty I should be
stoppin’
As I’m down for a Hip
op
I like breakin’ and poppin’
And dancing to Hip hop
At Sixty I should be
stoppin’
As I’m down for a Hip
op
The nine muses
Daughters of Zeus
Inspiring of mortals
And nurturers of the
arts
The eighth was,
The divine Thalia,
Flourishing, in bloom,
Was the muse of comedy
and idyllic poetry
A comic mask in her
hand
The praises of Thalia,
rustic goddess
And in her songs
flourish through time
The nine muses
Daughters of Zeus
Inspiring of mortals
And nurturers of the
arts
The seventh was,
The divine Terpsichore,
Delight of dancing,
Muse of choral songs
and dance
A lyre in her hand
Accompanies the
dancers
Terpsichore muse of
dance
Mother of the sirens
The Senior Citizens group
Were one of the very top
Break dancing troupes
And they were called Hip Op
Getting over my Hokey Cokey
Addiction was very hard I found
But with help from friends and
Family, I've turned myself around
I just realised that I haven't done
The Hokey Cokey for ten years, about.
I guess that when you get older,
You just forget what it's all about.
Up on the dance floor
I have two left feet
And cannot impress
The girls that I meet
As I gyrate like my shorts
Are full of live ants
But I do much better at
The dance with no pants
Two sailors where fighting
Over a prostitute on the dance floor
They both had one arm each
In a bizarre game of Tug-of-whore
Fred Astaire was believed to be
The
greatest Dancer in his field
But
Ginger Rodgers did the same
Only
backwards and in heels
I’m learning the Hokey Cokey
After all that’s what it’s all about
I haven’t learned it all just yet
But I’ve got all the ins and outs
