I love anagrams
Anagrams are great
Some make me chuckle
Some leave me red
faced
For example
A decimal point = I’m
a dot in place
I love anagrams

I am lucky to have true friends
There are not many of their kind
Friends are like four leaf clovers,
Lucky to have but hard to find
On public transport
You are reminded constantly
To be alert and vigilant
And report suspicious things you see
But if I saw something
That might be construed suspicious
I wouldn’t know what I’d do
As I don’t like to make a fuss
But what constitutes suspicious
Is it unattended packages?
Or people behaving
furtively
Or just hanging around for ages
Traveling home late on the train
One night before Christmas
I saw several women dressed as schoolgirls
Should I report that as suspicious?
Live a good life
Honourable and true
Live it to the full
No one can live it for you
Then when you look back
As your days begin to wane
You’ll get to enjoy it
All over again
Just remember the next time
You’re stuck in the snow and slush
That size really does matter
Dear friend I know whenever I’m down
In your company my spirit’s lift
And I consider your friendship
To be the most precious gift
Try to respect those around you
And their plans and schemes
Be supportive and encouraging
No matter how strange it seems
Or how bizarre or fanciful
Never laugh at someone's dreams
People really don't have much
