MY DUCKS ARE MOST DEFINITELY NOT IN A ROW

 

My ducks are most definitely not in a row

The whereabouts of some of them I do not know

And I’m almost certain one of them is a crow

Today is the tomorrow

We worried about yesterday

And all is well as you know

FORTUNATELY YOU HAVE TWO HANDS

 

Fortunately, you have two hands

And hopefully you’ll discover,

One is for helping yourself,

And one is for helping others

DON’T FOLLOW THE HERD

 

Don’t follow the herd,

Just think for yourself

Try to remain independent.

And be very careful

When following the masses

As sometimes the M is silent

WE DON’T HAVE ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD

 

We don’t have all the time in the world

Make each day count, is my view

So, focus all of your efforts on today

And do the things you really want to do

JUST THINK OF YESTERDAY AS HISTORY

 

Just think of yesterday as history

And see tomorrow as a mystery

Just accept today for what it is, a gift

that’s we call it the present clearly

PLEASE DON'T PURSUE HAPPINESS

 

Please don't pursue happiness

It will just make you feel crappy

And its not the road to happiness

So, stay off that road and be happy

I wish I had heard that proverb before I spoke

Keeping quiet would have been a very good shout

At what point do

Mistaken repetitions

Made over time

Become traditions

THE OLD SAYING GOES

 

The old saying goes

“If you can't beat them, join them”

But a rethink is called for,

“If you can't beat them”,

Rather than joining them

You should “beat them”,

Because they will be expecting

You to “join them”,

As a result you will take them

Completely by surprise

I USED TO BE INDECISIVE

 

I used to be indecisive

At least I thought so

But I am now quite sure

That I don’t actually know

TEAM WORK IS IMPORTANT

 

Team work is important,

In fact its second to none

Because it makes it easier

To put the blame on someone
