Why oh why
Did the fly, fly?
Because the spider
Spied her
Why oh why
Did the fly, fly?
Because the spider
Spied her
He was interviewed for the job
Of an insect packer of
bugs and thrips
He answered all the
questions
And in the end boxed
all the ticks
There is a moth in the bathroom
Drawn towards the
light
My wife was in the
shower
And it gave her a bit
of a fright
I don’t understand why
If they are attracted
to the light
They don’t just appear
When the sun is
shining bright
I will never understand women
How is it they can
pour wax, molten
Onto their naked flesh
and then to boot
Rip it off pulling out
the hair by the root
And yet can by
completely terrified by
A spider that’s even
smaller than a fly
Some make you cringe
Some drive you mad
Some make you freeze
Some scare you bad
Some are enormous
Some are minute
Some are horrendous
Some are quite cute
Some of them jump
Some cause a rash
Some make a buzz
Some make you dash
Some make you itch
Some make you sick
Some kill you slow
Some kill you quick
Some of them bite
Some of them crawl
Some are big
Some are small
But what they share
Is that insects appal
I have to be honest
I hate them all
Don’t go swimming
When the red flags fly
Don’t go in the water
When the waves are
high
Don’t go swimming
If it’s too risky
And don’t even dip a
toe in
The hepatitis sea
Insects are dangerous
I thought you should
know
Some kill you quick
Some kill you slow
Some poison the blood
In your arteries
Yes, I’m talking about
The hepatitis bee
I have discovered an elemental force
Invisible to us
all, it works like radar
That alerts every
flying creature
When I have
finished washing my car
Insects are dangerous
That we all know
Some kill you quick
Some kill you slow
Some poison the
blood
In your arteries
One particular
specimen
Is the hepatitis
bee
