Sixteen year old Gwen Davies (Siân MacLean) adores the horses she and her grandfather have raised on the beautiful Welsh Mountains. However, when her grandfather dies without naming her as heir the farm passes to her uncle Alan (Daniel J. Travanti) who left Wales many years earlier and made a home in America and now must either sell the farm to a greedy land developer, or allow Gwen to keep the farm, opening the wounds of his tragic past in the process.
Are you wearing a Santa Suit?
I have to
say you do look cute
I wonder if
there might just be
A little
room in there for me
Christmas at the office
Is just
like any other day
Let’s face
of it
You end up
doing all the work
And the fat
guy in the suit
Gets all
the credit
Every Christmas day is the same
The Browns
come round for lunch
I dread the
time as it approaches
They’re a
bloody awful bunch
He’s an
opinionated git
She’s a
loudmouthed fishwife
Their kids
run amuck unchecked
Causing
trouble and strife
They drink
all my booze
And eat
every crumb of food
They’re
uncouth and vulgar
Obnoxious
and just plain rude
They are a
truly horrible family
I wish I
could show them the door
They have
no redeeming features
God I hate my
brother in law
Come Christmas day
I will be
full of Christmas spirit
Buck fizz
with my breakfast
Is only the
start of it
Then a
sherry with the vicar
After the
candles have been lit
And
aperitif before lunch
Maybe Vodka
or a Gin and it
Wine with
every course
Brandy when
the pudding is lit
Liqueur
with coffee
Then more
brandy as we sit
Then when
the day is over
I whish
shoe a ferry Hacky Fhrismit
This Christmas Time
When you
celebrate the day
With
friends and family
Good
spirits on display
When your
dining table
Is full to
overflowing
Everyone cozily
warm
With the
firelight glowing
And you sit
in your armchair
With your
waist band straining
Opening all
the presents
When
outside its cold and raining
When you
have over indulged
To the
point of gluttony
Take a
moment to think
About the
all too many
Spare a
thought for the needy
For the
tired and the weary
Or those
who are just lonely
The cold
and the hungry
The
numerous homeless
The defenseless
and the helpless
Enjoy this
Christmas Time a lot
But think
of those who cannot
