A MANUSCRIPT IS ALWAYS CALLED AN MS

 

A manuscript is always called an MS,

After the prospective Authors submit,

By the publishing house because that

Is the state the receiving editor finds it

FOR MY JOB I DO SHIFT WORK

 

For my job I do shift work

At a publishing place

I have to help a one armed

Typist do upper case

RHYME AND PUNISHMENT

 

I like to write an ode or rhyme

It’s a fun way to pass the time

After many years of composition

I have come to this conclusion

The hardest part of the whole process

And the least enjoyable I must confess

Unless of course you pay a mint

Is to get the bloody stuff in print
