What a thoroughly unwholesome situation we find ourselves in after the 2010 election result, we purveyors of democracy, we who rain down bombs of democracy upon the lands of the less enlightened.
We
find Gordon Browns defeated party clinging onto power by its very fingertips
while Clegg whores his party out to the highest bidder to his discredit and to
the disgust of his supporters.
I
pray that Cameron is permitted to take the reins and drive us out of this mire
we find ourselves in created by the most undemocratic instrument namely the
tactical vote.
I
further pray we never go down the road of proportional representation because
what we are experiencing at the moment is, but a pale reflection of what PR
will land us with after every election.
