Cock a doodle doo,

My wife has lost her shoe;

Oh what a convenient confidence trick

Just so she can buy some new

Hey diddle dinkety, poppety, pet,

The Bankers of London should wear scarlet;

As a mark of dishonour to shame them

But they carry on as before these banking men

Police were called to the kindergarten

And the reason for the request

Was a troublesome three-year-old

Who was resisting a rest
